Trans Energy’s active horizontal drilling program operates predominantly in the liquids-rich portion of Marshall County. Average Estimated Ultimate Recoveries (EUR) in this portion of the play range between 1.2 and 2.0 billion cubic feet per one thousand foot of lateral. The Company has historically focused on drilling wells with approximately 4,500 feet of effective lateral. Including Republic’s interest, Trans Energy has a total Marcellus midstream takeaway capacity of 90 MMBTU per day.
