Trans Energy, Inc. is a pure play Marcellus Shale producer that engages in the acquisition, exploration, development, exploitation, and production of oil and liquids-rich natural gas. The Company and its JV Partner, Republic Energy, own interests in, and operate approximately 62,000 gross acres in West Virginia. Trans Energy’s current focus is primarily in Marshall, Wetzel, Tyler and Marion, Counties. With exposure to roughly 3 Tcfe of upside across more than 400 gross potential drilling locations in the liquids-rich portion of West Virginia, Trans Energy has strong visible growth opportunities for the foreseeable future. As of June 30, 2012, 120 of these 400 locations are ready to drill locations.
